YELLOWSTONE Exit Rumors

In February, Deadline reported that Paramount Network was mulling a shakeup, which sparked rumors regarding Costner‘s future in Yellowstone. The outlet claims that schedule conflicts with Costner, 68, have led to the decision to move the western drama to a spinoff series fronted by Matthew McConaughey.

Nevertheless, the network has dismissed the rumor and has not confirmed any future projects with McConaughey, 53.

According to a statement made by a spokesperson for the series to Deadline, there is no news to report. The spokesperson also expressed the hope that Kevin Costner will continue to be a significant part of Yellowstone for a long time to come.

The statement further revealed that the series is constantly working on expanding the franchise of the world created by the brilliant mind of Taylor Sheridan. Additionally, it mentioned that the series would love to partner with the phenomenal talent of Matthew McConaughey.

According to media reports, the 68-year-old actor who plays John Dutton, patriarch of the Dutton family, has requested to significantly reduce his shooting schedule on Yellowstone and may even leave the series to work on his own film project, a multi-part western epic titled Horizon.
