Tekken 8 Bringing Back Jun Kazama: New Trailer

Tekken 8 Bringing Back Jun Kazama

Jun Kazama is back and better than ever in Tekken 8’s new trailer.

A new Tekken 8 character trailer was released today, giving fans a fresh look at a fan-favorite character who has been absent from the playable roster of the series’ major entry since the second game.

Tekken 8 Bringing Back Jun Kazama

Fans last saw Kazama in a mainline game, Tekken 2, where they thought she had died. Even though official sources list her death as “unknown,” rumors about her death have persisted. Since then, she has only shown up in flashbacks or spin-offs that aren’t canon.

Her last playable role was in the 2011 game Tekken Tag Tournament 2, which is not part of the official Tekken series. She comes back as a playable character in Tekken 8, which is the first time in more than a decade.

TEKKEN 8 – Jun Kazama Gameplay Trailer

In the trailer, Jun does some moves that look like they were taken from her role as Unknown, Tekken Tag Tournament 2‘s final boss. But unlike her demonic form and powers in that game, Jun’s moves in the trailer don’t have any of those things.

The trailer also shows a short cutscene in which Kazuya Mishima is surprised to see Jun because he thought she was dead. The scene happens before the two of them fight. During the fight, Jun shows off her Rage Art, which involves surrounding her opponent in light. After she wins, Jun says she wants to get rid of all evil in the world.

In Tekken 8, the latest fighting game from Bandai Namco, several characters, like Jun Kazama, Kazuya Mishima, King, and Lars Alexandersson, are confirmed to be back. Bandai Namco also just released information about the Heat System, which gives players a temporary boost that lets them use powerful attacks and special moves that they wouldn’t be able to use otherwise.

Tekken 8 is currently being made for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S, and its release date has not yet been set. We’ll tell you when the game comes out as soon as we know more about the release date.
