Contrary to popular belief, she was not employed at Waffle House. Despite the amusing storyline that originated from a viral video in which she was seen donning a uniform at the renowned breakfast establishment, the reality was that she was simply a guest at the diner when the staff kindly provided her with the classic blue shirt and a yellow “Lana” name tag.

During an interview with The Hollywood Reporter published on a Wednesday, she recounted the moment, stating, “On our third hour there, the servers approached us and asked, ‘Would you like some shirts?’ We were absolutely thrilled.”

In the video, she appeared to be serving at least one customer, but she offered an explanation for this as well. She explained, “There’s this guy, he’s a regular customer who comes in every day and orders two specific items, so they told me, ‘Just go get it for him!’ I brought him a Coke, no ice, and an empty cup,” she remarked.

“It was for dipping,” she added. “I didn’t notice anyone recording me.” When questioned about her reaction to her sudden video fame, she humorously responded, “I wish my album had gone viral like that.” She continued, “I woke up to about 10,000 texts the next morning, some from people I hadn’t heard from in a decade, saying, ‘I saw your picture at Waffle House!'” She laughed and quipped, “I was like, ‘Did you hear the new album?'”
