Lady Gaga As Harley Quinn
Warner Bros. has released a new image from Joker 2, giving fans a first look at Lady Gaga’s role as Harley Quinn in the long-awaited sequel to one of the most popular films ever created.
Director Phillips helmed the very successful Joker in 2019, starring Joaquin Phoenix. Phoenix, who was nominated for an Oscar for his performance, will reprise his role in the forthcoming musical sequel, Joker: Folie à deux. Lady Gaga’s participation in the project was revealed in August of last year. Phillips and Lady Gaga both posted the pictures on Valentine’s Day. It features Lady Gaga As Harley Quinn and Phoenix in his respective role.
This appears to be the “sneak peek” (Lady Gaga As Harley Quinn) that Phillip mentioned a few months back. While the DC blockbuster is still more than 18 months away from release, fans should not interpret this image as the start of the Joker 2 marketing or promotional campaign. It is too soon to begin such actions before the film’s release.

Although Lady Gaga as Harley Quinn, isn’t completely costumed in the image, and there’s no official word that she’ll be wearing the character’s characteristic makeup in the sequel, it’s nonetheless exciting to see the singer/actress in action in the DC world.
The studio has classed the DC picture as an Elseworlds release, implying that it will have no bearing on the official DC Universe (DCU) canon. As a result, filmmaker Todd Phillips and his team look to have total creative authority over the next Gotham-centered sequel.
A brief teaser for the film, depicting the outlines of Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga’s characters, was published in August. But, the aforementioned image is the first time viewers get a clear look at Harley Quinn in this Joker reality.
Although it is unclear whether the Joker sequel would change Dr. Quinzel’s past, the film looks to focus on the character’s alter personality Harley Quinn, who is recognized as her clown-inspired alter ego. The film, described as a “romantic musical” from Harley’s perspective, is anticipated to revolve around her.
