Early in April, “Ozark” star Tom Pelphrey and Kaley Cuoco’s daughter was born, making the family of three.
Cuoco shared the news that she gave birth to a daughter, Matilda Carmine Richie Pelphery, on March 30, 2023.
Kaley Cuoco Is Now A Mom
The 37-year-old “Flight Attendant” actress posted many images of her newborn daughter on Instagram on Saturday, including shots of the infant napping, yawning, and being carried by the proud parents.
“Introducing, Matilda Carmine Richie Pelphrey, the new light of our lives! We are overjoyed and grateful for this little miracle,” Cuoco wrote in an Instagram post. “Thank you to the doctors, nurses, family, and friends who have helped us immensely over the last few days.”
The new father also shared some pictures of his growing family.

“My heart is full of love and gratitude for this miracle,” he wrote on his Instagram handle. “Eternally grateful for the strength and bravery of my soulmate and best friend, @kaleycuoco. You are incredible.”
Earlier this year, Kaley disclosed that she did not have a specific plan for the birth and would rely on her instincts when the time came.
The 37-year-old actress stated in an interview with Entertainment Tonight that she would be the type of mother who would not engage in extensive preparations, as she had not read any books on motherhood. Unlike someone who is overly prepared, Kaley is not that type of person.
She expressed confidence in the natural process of childbirth and believed that everything would go smoothly. In fact, her partner, Tom, has done enough research for both of them and could even deliver the baby himself.
Kaley has always approached life with a positive attitude, and she believes that nowadays, people tend to get overly anxious and caught up in the wealth of information available to them.

Cuoco and Pelphrey made their first appearance as a couple on the red carpet at the Emmy Awards in 2022. In May of the same year, Cuoco told USA TODAY that she and Pelphrey had met through their manager, and described the situation as “so Hollywood.”
According to her, when she heard Pelphrey‘s voice, she turned around and felt like her life was either over or just starting. She claimed that it was love at first sight and that they were immediately connected. She further added that she felt like she had known him her whole life, but wasn’t ready for him before, and now they were ready to build a life together.

Cuoco revealed in October that she was expecting her first child, a girl, through Instagram.
Cuoco’s first marriage was to Karl Cook from 2018 until 2021, before she began dating Pelphrey.
