Real Housewives of Beverly Hills‘ star Mauricio Umansky is set to make history on Dancing With the Stars. He’s the first Bravo Housewife husband to join the show’s cast for season 32. Umansky, excited about breaking new ground, shares, ‘Isn’t that great? I didn’t know I was the first Housewives husband until recently, and I’m thrilled to pave the way for others.’
He also said, “I feel honored and I’m glad I could be the one to pave the path for other House -wives- husbands.”

Umansky acknowledges the challenge, saying, ‘This is completely outside my comfort zone. Dancing on national television is something I’ve never done, but I’ve always wanted to learn. It’s in my Latino blood.’

Umansky, who shares three daughters with estranged wife Kyle Richards and a stepdaughter, Farrah Brittany, remains focused on the competition despite recent marital issues.
Appearing on Good Morning America alongside his fellow season 32 Dancing with the Stars cast members, the Buying Beverly Hills star shared that he had informed Kyle Richards and their daughters about his casting prior to the public announcement. Notably, Umansky, 53, referred to the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member as his “wife” despite their current separation.
He expressed their excitement, saying, “They were thrilled when I shared the news with my family. My daughters, my wife—everyone will be there to support me on this dancing journey, and we’re looking forward to having a fantastic time together.”
