Foo Fighters have announced that they will be putting out their first record since the sad death of band member Taylor Hawkins.
It is the band’s 11th full-length studio album in total, and the song is titled “But Here We Are.” They have described it as “A Testament to the Healing Powers of Music,” and it is also the band’s 11th full-length album overall. The fans express their gratitude and excitement over the newly composed music.

‘But Here We Are’ will be the title of the band’s next album, which they have announced will be released. Following the untimely death of their drummer Taylor Hawkins, the band proceeded to record this album.
The band will release their 11th studio full-length album with this release, and it will be their first since 2021’s Medicine at Midnight, which was a smash.
Additionally, it is their shortest turnaround since the two-year gap that existed between the release of In your honor in 2005 and the release of Echoes, Silence, Patience, and Grace in 2007.
The long-playing record (LP) was referred to in a press release as “the first chapter of the band’s new life.”
On June 2nd, ‘But Here We Are’ will be made available for purchase through Roswell Records and RCA Records.
On April 19th, vocalist for The Foo and former drummer for Nirvana, Dave Grohl, along with the rest of the band, released an emotional Album titled “Rescued, ” and the album starts off with a track titled “Rescued.”
The listeners are appreciating the signature sound of the song ‘Rescued’ and are moved by its deeply meaningful lyrics. The song explores the theme of a profound desire “to be rescued” and features the lyrics “It came in a flash/It came out of nowhere. It happened so fast/And then it was over.”
According to a media release from the Seattle-based rock group, “But Here We Are” is a testament to the healing powers of music, friendship, and family. The song offers a brutally honest and emotionally raw response to everything that the Foo Fighters endured over the last year.
The release continued, “But Here We Are” is a collection of 10 songs that run the emotional gamut from rage and sorrow to serenity and acceptance, and myriad points in between. The album opens with the newly released lead single ‘Rescued’, and is characterized by its courageous, damaged and unflinchingly authentic nature.
According to ‘Variety’, the drummer on the new song remains unidentified and does not bear resemblance to Foo Fighters’ frontman Dave Grohl, who has mainly focused on singing and rhythm guitar since founding the band in 1995, although he does occasionally play the drums.
Instead, it is believed to be Josh Freese, who has been widely speculated as the band’s next drummer, but no official announcement has been made yet.
The band is all set to embark on months of tour dates, commencing in New Hampshire (USA) on May 24 and is expected to spend most of the remaining year on the road.
Unfortunately, Hawkins, who had been the band’s drummer since 1997, passed away on March 25, 2022, at the age of 50, just before the band was scheduled to perform at a festival in Bogota, Colombia, as reported by ‘Variety’. Prior to joining Foo Fighters, Hawkins had toured with Alanis Morissette.
