In this week’s edition of PEOPLE, Kyra Sedgwick opens up about directing her husband Kevin Bacon in her next film Space Oddity and explains why she and Bacon were surprised when their TikTok videos went viral.
Bacon and Sedgwick divide their time between Los Angeles, New York City, and their farm in Connecticut, where they keep four goats, two pigs, three alpacas, and three miniature horses.

The animals regularly appear as co-stars in their social media videos, including ones in which Bacon plays the guitar and sings for the goats.
According to Sedgwick, two of the goats were presents from Bacon, who also reportedly gave her a Central Park seat with the inscription, “For Kikko: Because … there’s some¬thing in the way she moves. I love you, K.” She exclaims, “I was very touched. It was beautiful.”
Sedgwick and Bacon, who are parents to Travis, 33, and Sosie, 31, discuss the secrets to their successful marriage in a wide-ranging interview. Sedgwick claims that they have “always been each other’s strongest support and fans.”
