According to reports, Adele has been recording a new album and may drop it in the next few weeks.

The pop superstar usually waits years between albums, but a recent rumor claims that she won’t waste any time before releasing her next album. The artist behind “Hello” has been writing songs about her fiance, Rich Paul, and their blossoming romance.

According to The Sun’s sources, the Grammy-winning singer is now in discussions to release a surprise album later this year, on which she has recorded some of her “most uplifting and positive songs ever.”

After her divorce from ex-husband Simon Konecki, Adele released her first album in six years, 30 in November 2021.

She discussed the album’s positive impact on her life in an interview with Apple Music. “It was like it really helped me, this album. It really, really did. And I truly do believe, like, when we started the interview where I was like, ‘There’s not an occasion or a scenario or a feeling where there is not the perfect song for it somewhere.’ I really do believe, and I’m not being arrogant or anything like that here, it’s just, like, it was my hell. But I really went to hell and back.”

In addition to the songs, the CD included audio notes from a discussion in which Adele explains the breakup to Angelo.

Some of the 30 were recorded before the pandemic struck, so she reportedly waited a long time to release it during the lockdown.

The source added, “Since then her life has totally transformed. She has gone from rock bottom to being madly in love and wants the world to know it. Her music reflects that and the next album will be her most optimistic ever. She won’t be the queen of heartbreak ballads for much longer.”

Her recent relationship with sports agent Rich Paul will be reflected in her next album.

Adele has announced 34 more performances for her Las Vegas residency, “Weekends With Adele,” which runs from June through November. In addition, she is preparing a concert film.

Adele recently informed her audience at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace that she knew playing to 4,000 people over the course of 34 nights wasn’t enough. She said, “So I am coming back for a few weeks in June, and I’m going to release it to make sure anyone who wants to see this show can see it.”
