After apparently fighting with her husband over the TV remote while turning up the volume, Nick Carter’s mom was detained for battery and taken into custody on charges of violence.
According to online prison records, Jane Schneck was detained on Friday night. Her son drowned in his bathtub in November at the age of 34 after taking Xanax and huffing before his death.
Nick Carter’s Mom Was Detained For Battery
Jane Schneck‘s husband pulled out his phone to film what was occurring, and Jane grabbed his wrist. He reportedly phoned the cops because he didn’t appreciate the way Jane touched him.
When police arrived to Jane’s Florida house, they examined a video on his mobile phone and thought it was clear enough to make an arrest for battery.

According to online records, Ms. Schneck was brought into jail early on Saturday morning and later secured a $100 bail to be released that same day.
It is thought that Ms. Schneck’s spouse was unharmed and declined to visit a hospital despite the violent confrontation.
Previous Records of Jane Schneck
In 2004, Jane Schneck was also detained for violence after an alleged assault on Ginger Elrod, her ex-husband’s girlfriend.
At the time, it was claimed that she entered her then-husband’s house using a rock to shatter a window, dragged Ms. Elrod out of bed, and hit her with a remote control.
Aaron Carter’s Death
Jane Schneck, who was originally wed to the late Robert Gene Carter, recently posted a slew of ominous photos shot in the bathroom where her son unfortunately died.
Before the autopsy report was released last month, in March, she posted the pictures on Facebook in an effort to get authorities to look into her son’s death.
Jane Schneck wrote: “Still trying to get a real investigation for the death of my son Aaron Carter,” next to the pictures. “I want to share these death scene photos with you all because the coroner wrote it off as an accidental drug overdose. They never investigated it as a possible crime scene because of his addiction past.”
