Nominations have begun to be announced by the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) for the 50th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards, and The Young and The Restless leads the field.
Although the full list of candidates is not expected to be made public until later today (Wednesday, April 26), the nominations for five categories, including Outstanding Daytime Drama Series and Lead Performance in a Daytime Drama, were disclosed last night.
The Young And The Restless In The Daytime Emmys Nominations
The Young and the Restless, which is also celebrating its 50th century this year, is presently leading the field with six nominations. Among those nominations are three different nods in the Lead Actress category, one each for Sharon Case, Melissa Claire Egan, and Michelle Stafford.
The Daytime Emmy Awards will air on CBS and Paramount+ on Friday, June 16 at 9 p.m. ET.
