Woman Died At Disneyland
At approximately 6:50 p.m., the police were alerted of a person who had either fallen or jumped from the Mickey and Friends Parking Structure, as stated by Anaheim police Sgt. Jon McClintock to FOX News Digital. Upon arrival, the officers discovered an adult woman on the ground and provided immediate assistance until Anaheim Fire and Rescue arrived.
An adult woman, who was not identified, was discovered on the ground and given assistance until Anaheim Fire and Rescue arrived at the location. She was then transported to a nearby hospital, but unfortunately, she was pronounced dead.
Because the woman’s identity has not been confirmed, it is unknown whether she was a visitor to the amusement park.
The Park’s Death History:
The parking structure, which has a capacity of over 10,000 vehicles, was completed in the year 2000. This contemporary garage looms towering, prepared to host the multitudes of Disney theme park guests. Its slashing design and engineering enable efficient and safe parking for all.
According to the Anaheim police, another same type of incident occurred in December where a man lost his life on a Saturday night. The man reportedly fell from the multistory parking garage located in Disneyland and it’s not just limited to this incident.
Sgt. Shane Carringer, a spokesperson for the Anaheim police, stated that the occurrence took place shortly before 9 p.m. The individual who passed away was a male in his 50s. He fell from the Mickey & Friends Parking Structure located within the amusement park and was declared deceased upon arrival.
Since its opening in 2000, the parking structure – recognized as one of the biggest in the United States – has witnessed multiple suicide incidents.
